In reply to Chewxy:-
I know that a lot of you all got a say in this. But I think that Malaysian have a kiasu way of thinking. Why, they would rather go to some kuai lou website to check on their blogs even it is copy and paste contents. They just can’t afford to see another Malaysian trying to be succesful. Their thinking is like if I am not succesful, I am never going to let anyone arround get above me.
Famous gadget blog also copy and paste their information from another source:-
- http://www.engadget.com – Got it from readers and also other website as well
- http://www.slashdot.org – World famous Geeks news blogger, go check it out, see if they writes anything more than me?
- http://www.fark.com – Link to source with only one to line of words.
This will be my last ping. I need to remove the trackback from the trackback. I will blog for myself and my interest to compile my own technology news and information.
To Chewy: You are rude and you blog without any facts at all. I am married and I have a great life as a husdband at the age of 25. Why? because I love my wife. We are well educated (unlike you) and graduated from a University from United States. You can correct me if I am wrong, but you don’t insult me on your blog about something that is not true. Blogging is new to me. I started on April 2005. I would love to learn but would not take insult like that.
Copied from his website about my blog:
“Probably copying and pasting for the sake of adsense, and perhaps, the blogger can be able to show off to his girlfriends that he blogs for technology, in bid to make up for his lack of size somewhere between the legs.”
“Copy and paste. Completely no synthesis of information. My advice : blogging does not make your e-penis swell. Stop wanking”
The reason why I blog: I will be honest. I blog because I would like to attract users to my Malaysia Classifieds website at http://www.syiok.com and people says to blog about something that you are interested at.
Why do that?
- Technology is something I am good at and where I like to update myself.
- For SEO purposes, blogging daily would get me better ranking and I am testing and experimenting with the SEO thing.
- Trying to get users to my Classifieds page. ( I have been altering and thinkering for the best result on Search Engine and been succesful on MSN and Yahoo that is why I don’t mess around with my wordpress)
About Syiok.Com – Malaysia Classifieds
Do you guys know what is the benefit of all Malaysian using only ONE Malaysia Online Classifieds. It means that classifieds are free, effective and beneficial for all people. I know that my classifieds is good because each advertisement posted is listed as a different page on Google. Once spidered, you advertisements will actually be found on Google, MSN and Yahoo. I am counting and I think that I will be able to survive (not losing money) by doing a classifieds page and providing the service for FREE but running on advertisements. This will be a win win solution for all Malaysian.
Search Engine Result from some keyword people found my website [using statcounter]:
“apartment to rent in penang”
“house for sale in usj”
“HOUSE FOR SALE AT BOTANIC KLANG”
My experience with classifieds:
Craigslist.org – Before moving to San Francisco from Oklahoma, Me and my partner (now my wife) found our appartment even before going to the place it self. We did not bring much furniture and things because we drove there. When reaching there, we got some free furniture & monitor. Went there for 3 months and did not manage to survive because we are unemployed, therefore I sold my Car, Subwoofe & Spearkers using the same classifieds website. Giving out my hangers, monitors, all furniture that I bought and had then free, anything that is not worth bring back to Malaysia on Craigslist. Posted my address, and put the stuff in front of my house. A couple hours later, it is gone, ALL GONE. I even have this asian girl comming knocking on my doors asking if I have somemore hanggers. THIS IS WHAT I CALLED A COMMUNITY although I am only part of it for 3 months. Nothing is wasted in this online community. Broken 50″ TV are given away free, if you fix it, it’s yours. Even used boxes, and dirt. RECYCLE, REUSE or SELL your item rather than letting it rot in your store room.
Check the website itself, it earns money by charging companies to post jobs for $75, but I am trying a different way.

There is nothing wrong with the flowing of information via various blogs.
His opinion is quite harsh, IMO.
This is unrelated, but whoa… you sure don’t look married. Did you wear your wedding ring yesterday? LOL!
yes…i was wearing…and I am pretty young to get married…but when you found the correct one….it is time to take it to the next level…..
Wish I found her by now.
By the way, guess I’ll be in the next round of evaluating Tech News Blog. LoL …
Your case is more or less same as mine, I blog for my own interest, really. Honestly, my monthly AdSense income not even enough to cover my monthly hosting fee.
Anyway, feedback is a good way for improvements. Listen to them won’t do any bad to us as long as we are able to accept the reasonable ones and start improving ourselves.
Cheer up, dude.
i could take the critics on my blog…..but insult on me is too much….that is what I dislike about him……first he don’t even know me…….why do insult on me…..a bit uneducated critics right?
hmmm…you are luckier than me i think…get insulted just from one person…you know wat, my name is on the the Blog Herald and get mentioned by Darren (Problogger) just because i didn’t credit the authors the correct way???For one night, i think my foolish and newbie experience has put Malaysian blogger to hall of shame. But maybe i have to agree on you a bit, what makes me more sad is some Malaysian blogger make this matter bigger and put more shame on me. Not even one backing me up, at least give some moral support. Instead the malaysian blogger Insult and mocking me…but i dont give a damn about his/her critics. All i know i must continue learning…maybe they think they are perfect…

Congratulations! Your site has been reviewed by Malaysia Business and Consumer website http://www.isnin.com for your site to be included at the web directory.
wow…but not giving credit is a bad thing…even in school they teach you to quote.
but the true fact is that even the famous blog are taking they news from somewhere…..only that they compile a better website doesn’t mean that my website.
All of the complaining about copy and paste blog still did not answer me the question about slashdot.org.
Is slashdot.org a copy and paste blog?
Is engadget.com a copy and paste blog?
Is gizmodo.com a copy and paste blog?
Answer that if they can
they aren’t blogs you genius, those are news sites, and are specifically made for the collection of news. They’re more like gatherers, unless you can match up to their 20 posts a day, you don’t really qualify as a news site.
if you search for “gadget blog” on google. They will be there. So I think google is not so much of a genius then.
google uses an indexing algorithm with a simple probability matrix, a simple meta filter and an akward prediction system, point is, it works on probability based on content, not intent. Please lah, don’t give yourself shoddy excuses and blame google.
anyway’s you’re still wrong lol : Here’s the google seach meta :http://www.google.com.my/search?q=gadget+blog&sourceid=mozilla-search&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official
No point in trying to fight me, you’re way outta you’re league lol.
blogging is about expressing yourself.
blogging is about making money.
blogging is about collecting data.
blogging is about connecting people.
blogging is about having fun.
for me, it doesn’t matter if someone wants to cut and paste,
write out of his/her head. the blog is his or hers… as long as
you don’t offend anyone, blogging is a healthy phenomenon.
just look at it this way… you blog because you love it. if one
out of thousands people dislikes your blog, it’s that person’s
problem.
keep it up 8dee!

for you informaiton ….they are also listed for blog on pc magazine….and your search also shows engadget on the main list
gizmodo.com itself writes that it is a “The gadget weblog”
its title page says “The Gadget Blog”
I dunno if you can’t read or you are just playing dumb. WAKE UP AND OPEN YOUR EYES AND READ.
what do you mean out of the league….you are helping me…lol funny dude you are.
Usually when you copy and paste the codes, you need to know the reason behind it and also the mechanisms of it. Copying is actually not legal. You have to respect the author’s copyright or to be more specific Intellectual Property Rights.
It’s just that we copy them to learn and put them into use and remodify for our own use. So please don’t get the theory wrong.
