BenQ 20″ LCD Monitor

BenQ 20

BenQ FP202W the monitor for Gamers and Movie Lover. And I read that BenQ actually makes monitor for a lot of branded company. BenQ started with OEM manufacturing and started to feel the pintch when retailers are pressing them for price, therefore they start promoting their brand name.

I read it on some PC magazine that BenQ actually manufactures arround 70-80% of laptop screens around the world. So, they should be a trusted brand but are lack of marketing skills, because they have a booth for some gadget shows at 1Utama lately but the presentation and design of their goods aren’t very good.

Monitor Specification:-

The monitor’s enhanced image quality also comes from its 1680-by-1050-pixel resolution and its 600:1 contrast ratio, according to BenQ representatives. The company also implemented its “Senseye” digital enhancement technology, which is designed to automatically improve and adjust the image quality and brightness levels, and perform color mapping, reducing jagged edges on images.

At 20 inches, the screen is wide enough that two pages of text can be displayed side by side, according to BenQ. DVD movies and computer games can be played on the screen without cropping or compression.

The BenQ FP202W also comes with a “hot key” for switching immediately from digital to analog signals and back.

Nintendo Unleash Game Boy Micro

Nintendo Game Boy Micro

Looking at the picture remind me of micro genius controller. Games like Super Contra, Super Mario Bros. and City Connection are classics. It is very small for a portable game console.

Nintendo dominates the portable game industry with a market share of about 94 percent, and aims to strengthen its grip with the Micro as it goes up against Sony Corp.’s PlayStation Portable.

Nintendo, based in the western Japan city of Kyoto, hopes to draw women, casual gamers — those unwilling or unable to spend hours playing games — and older players with the new compact and stylish device.

eBay to buy out Skype for $4.1bln

EBay plans initially to pay $1.3 billion in cash and $1.3 billion in stock and to make a further payout of up to $1.5 billion by 2008 or 2009 if financial targets are met, giving the deal a total value of up to $4.1 billion, the source said.

That is a hugh cashing out for Skype. I must say that this is the best chatting program I had used before. I believe that it is using some of the Kazaa technology which share the bandwidth so that sound/voice can be transmitted quickly through the Internet. Even though you may not be chatting, Skype may still use your computer to transmit. Correct me if I am wrong because I have read this somewhere when Skype just came out.
